Frequently Asked Questions

Is there any crawling this year?

Yes in our new attraction “6 Feet Under”.  Approximately 20 ft.

I see amusement ride signs posted, is this a ride or a walk through attraction?

It’s a walk through attraction.  We are licensed & registered haunted attraction with the department of agriculture and inspected in accordance with the PA Bureau of Ride and Measurement Standards.

Will the scare actors touch or interact with me?
We offer an interactive haunted house.  This means you will MOST LIKELY have some form of physical contact with an actor, prop, or costume piece.    Actors are trained on appropriate touching which is shoulders up and knees  down.  If you are grabbed in the mid section/torso, it was probably a fellow patron trying to get a laugh.  We have a glow necklace available for purchase so the actor doesn’t touch you.  All proceeds go to the organization of choice for the year.

Do you use fog, strobe lights, and other special effects that might bother my allergies, heart condition, etc?
Yes, all the above.  If you have any medical condition, are pregnant, etc this attraction is not recommended for you.  We will not be held responsible for injury or loss.

Do you sell food & beverages at your attractions?
Yes. We will have a stand available.

What time does the haunted house usually open?
Please refer to hours and ticket info link.  Friday/Saturday from 7 pm to 10 pm.  If you purchased a ticket and it’s after 10 pm no worries, you will go through no matter the time.

How old does a child need to be and/or is it okay for younger kids?
We have no age restrictions so long as the child wants to go through on his/her own will with no one forcing them through.  All kids are different.   Please use appropriate judgment. You MAY NOT carry a child for safety reasons.

Does your attraction have security?
Our attraction has a fully-trained security staff that keeps things running smoothly.  We seldom, if ever, have a problem that actually requires security but we have it available for crowd control.

Can we be thrown out for any reason?
Yes.  We do not allow smoking, foul language, pushing, vulgar behavior, weapons of any kind, alcohol, etc.  We have a list of rules that must be adhered to for your own safety.  Violation of these rules will usually bring a warning and then being asked to leave without a refund.

Can we be injured at your attraction?
Running is the main cause of minor injuries.  Make sure to follow the rules, don’t run and you’ll be fine. Follow all the rules and do not stray from the main paths.

Do you have more then one attractions & do I have to go through both?

Yes we have opened a new attraction this year on the third floor of the building.  No, you can purchase tickets to one or both.  See ticketing information page for details.

Can we take flash photos of your haunted houses?
No.  Haunted houses are dark and everyone, especially the actors, gets adjusted to the low light.  When you flash your camera you’re not only ruining other customers’ experience but you are hurting the actors’/customers’ eyes.

What can’t we bring with us to your haunted houses?
No pets, weapons, alcoholic beverages, costumes, cameras, cell phones, or handbags.

What type of payment do you accept?
We accept cash at the ticket booth only.   We do have an ATM onsite.

Are you open if it rains?
Absolutely!  We will provide tents for coverage outside if it rains and our attraction is all indoors.

Is your attraction handicap accessible?

The Old School with assistance from staff we will get you through.  Not all areas can fit a wheelchair and may have to be bypassed.  6 Feet Under is NOT.

How long does it take to go through?
It depends on how fast you travel through the attraction.  Enjoy it, there is lots to see & feel.
